About

This web-based calculator is designed to assess the risk of histological activity index (AI) > 2 in patients with lupus nephritis (LN). This predictive model could be helpful in assisting physicians to make clinical decisions including perform kidney biopsy early and in a timely manner, strength immunosuppressive therapy and disease surveillance, or avoid unnecessary kidney punctures. We also provided the specificity and negative predictive value (NPV) at different thresholds. Physicians could choose different thresholds depending on the purpose of the application. More information can be found at our publication "A nomogram predicting the histological activity of lupus nephritis from clinical parameters".
